I don’t know if I mentioned it, but something I wrote was put in a real life book! Dead Cow Girl, writer & editrix extraordinaire, compiled stories from women about sexual desire, and has made it her mission to de-stigmatize women’s sexuality.

CUTE THUMBNAIL. THX YOUTUBE.
Anyway, I did a review of RodeoH’s strap on undies/harness. It’s short and simple. Enjoy.
You can get your very own right here!
Uh, also, sorry for the bizarre warping in the video; apparently the corner of the wall + selecting “stabilize” in the editing process = emulation of drug-induced states (meaning: it looks like YOU just took some drugs before watching this). Weird.
I don’t think I posted this here (??).
Back in the summer, I got the opportunity to talk to Autumn about beauty, being a sex worker, and how those two things affect one another (and have overall changed my perceptions).
Give it a read! Also, read the rest of her blog and be sure to subscribe; everything Autumn writes is BRILLIANT and resonant.
“[When she found out I was a dominatrix], a woman leaned over to me and said, ‘I don’t want to be rude, but I have questions,’” Wall said. “I liked that approach. She asked, ‘What do you like about it? Does it turn you on?’”
Both Wall and Morgan suggested that the job was what it was, and that Hell Is Other People.
Wall continued, “I don’t feel demeaned by my job, but by the people who want to make me feel like shit about it.”
“And you can’t make Dead Hooker jokes around me,” Morgan said.

Gram Ponante did a wonderful write up of Catalyst Con, and said some really lovely things about the panel that Sabrina, Dee and I were on.
Click the link to watch the show! We covered a variety of topics, from talking about Bawdy Storytelling to anal play/rim jobs/anal sex, BDSM, and our fetishes. As you can imagine, it’s not safe for work.
The audio/video quality is kind of a mess; it was the first show, and the technology was NOT cooperating. The next show, on September 5th, should be infinitely better (I won’t be a guest, but I have been recruited as the producer of the show, so definitely check back!). Like Sex with Others on Facebook to get updates on how to tune in and ask YOUR questions.
One of my favorite people, Jamye Waxman, invited me to be a part of one of her new collaborative projects! Assuming that all the technical issues can get worked out, we will be going live very shortly. Tune in if you can!
Lovehoney.com sent me the Sqweel 2 Oral Sex Simulator to review (and a bottle of Sliquid, my favorite lube!!!!!).
Have you tried this toy yet!? Let me know your thoughts!
xo
Please tell me you are joining us!
And if you are, don’t forget to check out the panel I am on. Sabrina Morgan, Dee Dennis and I will be hosting “How to Be an Ally to Sex Workers in Theory and Practice”.
Say hi!
I’m no Captain Awkward, but if someone emails me asking for advice, I’ll do my best.
Sexplore.Me interviewed me on their podcast. We talked pro-domming, shame, sexuality, and learning to apologize less. Give it a listen and check out their website. They are still fairly new but they are already producing some incredible work.
Also: Are you a sex educator? They are looking to interview 50 sex educators and if you have something to say, you should go for it!
What is an “office ninja”?
An office ninja is just your average hardworking genius who spends their days making companies around the world run smoothly. They answer your phones, coordinate your schedule, plan your meetings, make sure your events go off without a hitch, and keep order in the office.
If you are a Bay Area Office Ninja, you should come check out the Office Ninja Tech event on August 1st in San Francisco. A select few startups will be presenting their tools that can make even the most efficient office ninja’s life easier!
There are only a few spaces left, so I highly encourage registering soon.
Click here to find out more about the startups that are presenting and how to register. Don’t forget to follow them on Facebook and Twitter too!
Also, great news: I’ll be emceeing the event!
Hope to see you all there!
My column for this week! Finally, yes, I’m back. My Chicago trip didn’t leave much time for writing, despite all of my delusions prior to leaving about “taking time to work” and whatnots. Clearly…not.
For this week’s column, I decided to do something a little different. If you’ve read any of my other columns on PPR, you’ll know that most of them are various articles on fetishes and personal experiences in the dungeon. Some recent interactions, though, inspired me to change it up a little.
Yesterday, I put a call out to sex workers on Twitter and Tumblr asking what they found to be the most annoying question/response they got when they tell people about their job. By the time I asked this question, I had already had formulated most of this column; it possesses a list of the things that have left me endlessly frustrated and annoyed with civilians. Even so, please keep answering the questions. Keep sharing with me!
One of my goals is to help de-stigmatize sex work, and help make the world a better place for sex workers. The only way we can do this is by getting our voices out there.
Give the column a read, and share your thoughts. Disagree? Agree? More annoying things?
Let’s keep the conversation going.
Holy cannoli! I was in an episode of Zamboni TV!
Watch it, and don’t forget, you can get YOUR questions answered live at Impact Theatre in Berkeley. Get your tickets for An Evening with Great Zamboni ASAP!
Super exciting news! I have a piece in Tits and Sass!
I have been a reader of theirs for awhile; I love their approach to sex work and the community they’ve created for sex workers. It’s super exciting to get the opportunity to join that community and lend my voice to it firsthand.
The article is about sex worker privacy, particularly in an age when we are using the internet to share our perspective (and not always from our sex worker personas). I also talk about the importance of pseudonyms and maintaining personal boundaries with clients.
Are you a sex worker? Read the piece and please share your thoughts. I’d love to hear how you handle your privacy, both online and otherwise.
Another sex toy video review from yours truly!
This time around, I reviewed Fun Factory’s Smartballs Teneo Duo, courtesy of Jamye Waxman.
In the review, I also included a few ways to use them and how they felt in different situations. When I was researching, there was a lot of vague conversation about usage, so I tried to make my sex toy review as instructive and useful as possible.
Ladies, if you’re looking to strengthen your kegel muscles in a fun, easy way, I highly recommend grabbing yourself a pair of FunFactory’s Smartballs.
Watch the vid, and then grab yourself a pair at Babeland!
While you’re at it, want to win a bundle of free sex toys?
